Even though PlayBasic aims at compatibility first, You can still create stunning real time effects like Alpha Blending & Rotation just to name a few. The benefit is that your computer doesn't require the latest video hardware to use PlayBasic effectively. Nor do the games you create with it. Ensuring they'll work on as many systems as possible. Since PlayBasic focuses upon game creation, it includes a wealth of real time graphical features & effects.
