Eym Barcode Reader OCX 2.3 Description:
This free demo reads and decodes 1D barcodes from image files or in realtime from a webcam. It is intended to showcase the features of the EymBarcodeReader SDK, an ActiveX control capable of reading a plurality of barcode from image data. The SDK is available for licensing on a one-time fee basis (i.e. royalty free runtime distribution).
This control performs all necessary processing to locate and read a variety and plurality of standard 1D barcodes and encoding systems from 2D image data. The supported protocols include EAN-13, UPC-A, ISBN, AEN-8, UPC-E, Code 128, UCC/EAN-128, Code 39, VIN, Code 93 Interleaved 2 of 5, Codabar and Patch codes. You may integrate this control within your own application (using Visual Basic for example) and decide what the source of the image data should be and what to do with the decoded barcode data.
