ice eggs craft Recipe

Ice Eggs
Balloons
Funnel
Water
Food coloring

Using a funnel, fill each balloon with about 2 to 3 cups of water, then drop in two teaspoons of food coloring. You can mix two or more colors in each balloon for variety. Do not shake the balloons because an uneven distribution of color in the water make an interesting effect. Tie off the balloon necks and place them in the freezer for a couple of days.

When thoroughly frozen, peel off the balloons to reveal the ice eggs. Let children play with the ice eggs outdoors. The air bubbles and color will have made interesting patterns in the ice. Children can also melt them in a tub of water.

These are not edible.
