Scented Pine Cones Spray pine cones with gold metallic paint, then let dry completely. Using a cotton swab or small paint brush, dab inside edges of pine cones with clear-drying glue. Sprinkle with ground cloves or cinnamon. Tap off the excess spice. Let dry and arrange in a basket. Decorate with colorful ribbons, cinnamon sticks and greenery.
