ginger frappe Recipe


Ginger Frappe
1 cup granulated sugar
6 whole cloves
3/4 cup crystallized ginger, chopped
1 liter bottle vodka

Combine all ingredients in a clean jar with a lid, reserving the bottle. Store tightly sealed in a cool, dark place for 3 months.

Strain to remove the solids and return the liquid to the bottle. Allow to age for at least 1 month before serving.

Serve chilled, over ice, or straight up.

Makes about 4 cups.
