Description:	CAS Client is an adware program that monitors users search engine requests. It then delivers context relative advertising to the user’s desktop in various ways. CAS Client is an adware program that does monitors your requests to search engines then delivers its own set of results in a slider window that appears from the taskbar. It may also place icons on the desktop, open pop-up/pop-under windows, or create contextual hyperlinks within a webpage CAS may be installed as part of a bundle or directly from the consumeralertsystem.com website. CAS Client monitors keywords submitted to the users search engine of choice (google.com, yahoo.com, etc…). CAS Client then submits your search to the CAS search engine. Consumeralertsystems.com web site then delivers content to the CAS client application. The information is displayed in a small browser like window than appears from the lower right of the desktop. CAS installs a small application in the “Program Files folder. It then makes a registry entry to launch the client on startup. The program may be removed by visiting www.consumeralertsystem.com for an uninstaller program. According to the privacy policy CAS may share their collected information with third party vendors.
