The URL to the remote file(s) is stored in the resources of the downloader. When executed the application attempts to download the remote file via HTTP. Testing thus far suggests that the method this application uses for the download may well bypass any personal firewall software - the HTTP traffic is associated with SERVICES.EXE (legitimate system process, typically granted DNS incoming/outgoing in most personal firewall configurations).
