Description: AdDestroyer claims to be a spyware remover. However, it sets itself to run when you start the computer and it remains memory-resident. When it runs, the software will periodically attempt to contact a server to download updates and instructions. AdDestroyer shows ads to your computer which are not always targeted to your search Some versions may annoy you with pop-up advertisements in Internet Explorer. They claim that your system is at risk and that you should purchase an upgrade to AdDestroyer. Some versions of AdDestroyer will display an End Use License Agreement (EULA) when they are installed, giving the software the right to download and install "updates" to the software from its servers. These, of course, could do anything. Other versions will perform these actions silently, without telling you what is happening.
