It is a dangerous memory resident parasitic polymorphic virus. It hooks INT 21h and writes itself to the beginning of COM files that are executed. The virus has bugs and in some cases corrupts files while infecting them.
While installing memory resident the virus displays the message:
This file infected with [yet another data
encryption kernel advance] demo virii
The virus also contains the text:
[yet another data encryption kernel advance]
