Description: WinHound is a purported anti-spyware application to scan for and remove spyware from users' computers. WinHound is typically distributed by non-consensual installations through security exploits. The free scan falsely reports spyware to frighten the user into paying for the program. It will not remove any of the alleged spyware without payment. WinHound is part of a family of rogue security programs that includes XSRemover and KillSpy.
